OrderThe Little Rosie's Taqueria on Whitesburg had great food and service as usual. A group of 25 came in right before us, and we still made it through the line in less than 10 minutes. This is an order at the register and pick up your food at a window type restaurant. The Mexican lasagna plate was really good and came with a side salad and chips. The Fajitas plate was also tasty and also came with chips and a self-serve salsa station.
I think I made a GREAT choice! I was stopping in on my way down to Birmingham and this is a surprisingly awesome little spot! Give them a try! It's similar to a Chipotle. Order off the menu and wait for your food to be ready (vibrating tickets) and get a margarita! They have those! Lol. The rice is not overpowering like some Tex Mex places. The beans are a perfect consistency. Not too runny and everything did have flavor. I was happy they had some hot sauce available for spicing up the salsa. They have a decent little salsa bar.
I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a Rosie's Mexican and it was fast food place that served quality food you would get at Rosie's Mexican. Even got to have a beer. If you are looking for great food and fast here is the place. Even has a drive through.
A family favorite for us! Little Rosie's is the superior quick service Mexican restaurant in the Huntsville area! From the salsa bar, to fresh Tortillas, to the raspberry Margaritas you can't go wrong. A true gem from breakfast to dinner and in between!
